Isa Showa – 44cm
A bright, modern Showa from Isa Koi Farm in Niigata, Japan, one of the most respected Showa breeders in the world. Clean white skin, vivid red plates and sumi still coming through.
The Pattern
A bold red plate covers the head, framed by a clean white nose. A large red plate sits on the shoulders, followed by further red markings along the back towards the tail. White dominates between the plates, giving this fish a clean, Kindai-style look. Sumi is showing on the rear body and is still developing.
Skin and Colour
The red is vivid and thick, with clear, defined edges. The white skin is bright and clean, and the pectoral fins are pure white. As the sumi matures, expect it to deepen and spread, adding the third colour to an already striking fish.

Isa’s Showa regularly take top honours at the All Japan Koi Show. Their bloodlines are prized for deep sumi that develops with age, strong red and powerful body shape. At 44cm, this fish has plenty of growing and development ahead.
