Dainichi Showa | 33 cm
SKU: OGT-SHO-DAI-U-33-2601-009
A young Dainichi Showa carrying the signature qualities of one of Niigata’s most refined Showa bloodlines. The Sumi (black) shows the soft, lacquered finish that Dainichi is specifically known for, the Hi (red) is bright and well-saturated, and the Shiroji (white) is clean and bright. All three colours are present and developing as they should at this stage.
At 33cm she’s still a young fish, and that’s where the real opportunity lives. Showa from quality bloodlines like Dainichi continue to develop their Sumi well into maturity — what you see at 33cm is only a fraction of where the fish will be at 50, 60, 70cm. For a collector willing to grow her on, this is exactly the kind of fish that pays back patience. The bloodline is the predictor, and Dainichi is one of the most reliable predictors in the hobby.
The body is straight and well-proportioned with good early conformation. Currently in clean quarantine. Viewings by appointment — WhatsApp or call 079 185 4092 to arrange a time, or to request additional photos and video.
