Isa Showa | Female | 40 cm
A female Showa from Isa Koi Farm in Niigata, Japan. Isa is one of the most respected Showa breeders in the world, known for strong sumi and deep, even hi.
Pattern and colour
The hi (red) is rich and even. It covers the head and spreads in a large plate over the shoulders and back. Sumi (black) marks the face and sits in bold patches on the shoulder and back. Clean white runs along the flank and towards the tail. Both pectoral fins carry black at the base (motoguro), a classic Showa trait.
