Isa Showa | Female | 38 cm
A young female Showa from Isa Koi Farm in Niigata, Japan. Isa is one of the most respected Showa breeders in the world, and this fish shows the bloodline’s strength early.
Pattern and colour
The hi (red) is bright and even. It covers the head and runs in a large plate down the back. Sumi (black) marks the nose and sits in bold patches on the shoulders and along the back. The white ground is clean between the colours. Both pectoral fins carry black at the base (motoguro), a classic Showa trait.
Why this koi
