A female Isa Showa with notably well-developed pectoral tejima — the dramatic Sumi stripes running through both pectoral fins in clear vertical bands. Pectoral tejima is more visually striking than simple motoguro and is one of the most sought-after Showa features, because the dynamic black-on-white striping moves with the fish as it swims, drawing the eye in a way static body Sumi can’t match.
The body pattern is equally distinctive. The Hi (red) sits as a strong central plate through the back and shoulder area, broken through and accented by confident, well-placed Sumi clusters. The pattern carries through the body with structure and rhythm, finishing with a small odome Hi-and-Sumi mark near the tail that mirrors the head pattern visually. The Shiroji (white) is exceptionally bright and clean, particularly through the back half of the body where it provides the contrast that lets the pattern read with full impact.
The body shows excellent conformation — straight, with strong shoulders and a clean tail tube. Isa Koi Farm is one of the most prestigious Showa breeders in the world, with a bloodline that has shaped what modern Showa is expected to look like.
