Isa Showa | 44 cm
SKU: OGT-SHO-ISA-U-44-2601-007
A Showa from Isa Koi Farm — a name that needs little introduction among serious koi keepers. Isa is one of the most prestigious Showa breeders in Niigata, with a bloodline that has shaped what modern Showa is expected to look like. This fish carries the signature traits of that lineage.
All three colours are well-developed and balanced. The Sumi (black) is deep and lacquered, with the dense, well-placed quality that Isa is specifically known for. The Hi (red) is bright and saturated, breaking cleanly across the back and wrapping around the head and face. The Shiroji (white) is clean and bright, providing the contrast that brings the entire pattern to life. The face shows the classic Isa Showa structure — Hi on the head framed by Sumi, with the menware (black pattern across the head) well-defined.
The body is straight with good shoulders and a clean tail tube. At 44cm there is meaningful growth and pattern refinement still ahead — Showa from quality bloodlines like Isa continue to develop their Sumi well into maturity, and this fish has the foundation to grow into something exceptional.
