Dainichi Toyota Showa | Female | 42 cm SKU: OGT-SHO-DTY-F-42-2601-031

A female Dainichi Toyota Showa with a striking front-loaded pattern. All three colour elements — Hi (red), Sumi (black), and the surrounding white — are concentrated in the front 60% of the body, with the rear half running as a clean expanse of bright Shiroji. This layout gives the fish a strong visual rhythm; the clean tail end frames the pattern and lets it read with full impact.
The Hi is bright and well-saturated, wrapping the head and shoulders with a strong forward presence. The Sumi is the dramatic anchor — heavy, well-developed clusters through the mid-body, breaking through the Hi in confident graphic blocks rather than spreading evenly. The placement has structure and intent, which is the marker of disciplined breeder selection at this pattern intensity. The Shiroji is exceptionally bright and unblemished throughout, particularly through the back half where its purity carries the visual weight.
There is also a small tobi hi — a separate Hi mark near the lower body — which gives the pattern an additional point of visual punctuation. Tobi hi divides opinion among traditional graders, but many collectors appreciate the asymmetric character it adds to an otherwise concentrated pattern.
The body is straight with good shoulders and clean conformation. As a confirmed female at 42cm, she carries significant growth and pattern development potential, plus genuine breeding interest for collectors thinking long-term.
