Isa Showa Female 46cm — Classic Three-Colour Power
This female Showa comes from the Isa koi farm in Niigata, Japan. Isa is one of the most respected Showa breeders in the world. This fish shows why.
The Pattern
The Hi runs in three bold steps from head to tail. The red is deep and even. Between the steps, thick wrapping sumi bands cross the body and reach below the lateral line — a hallmark of true Showa breeding.
Look at the head. Sumi breaks across the face and crown, framed by crisp white and strong Hi. The pectoral fins carry motoguruma — sumi at the fin joints. That’s the classic Showa signature.
The rear body opens into clean white with scattered developing sumi. As she matures, that sumi will rise and finish, adding even more contrast.
Why Choose a Female?
Female koi grow larger and hold better body volume. At 46cm, this Showa already shows the broad shoulders and strong frame that Isa is known for. She has real jumbo potential.
The Isa Bloodline
Isa Showa are famous for powerful sumi and deep Hi that improve year after year. Buying an Isa female at this size means buying her best years ahead of you.
