A Momotaro Gin Rin Kohaku with a balanced three-step Sandan pattern — Hi plates running from the head through to the mid-body in a classic Kohaku layout, lifted by the metallic sparkle of Gin Rin scales across every plate. The Hi is the deep, saturated red Momotaro is specifically known for — even tone, no patchiness, clean break edges. The Shiroji is bright and unblemished, which is what gives the Gin Rin its visual impact; on a duller white, Gin Rin reads as cloudy, but on a clean Shiroji like this it sparkles cleanly in every light condition.
The face shows a strong wraparound Hi that frames the head, balancing the pattern visually from front to back. The body is straight with good shoulders and a clean tail tube. At 40cm she’s still a developing fish — Kohaku from this bloodline continue to refine their Hi pattern and skin quality well into maturity, and the Gin Rin only becomes more pronounced as the fish develops.
