Gin Rin Kohaku – 41cm
A quality Gin Rin Kohaku imported from Japan. A bold red head, clean white skin and strong gin rin that sparkles from nose to tail.
The Pattern
A deep red plate covers the head, framed by a clean white nose. The shoulders stay white, setting off red plates that sit on either side of the dorsal fin. Behind them, the body finishes in long, clean white skin, giving this fish an elegant, uncluttered look.
Gin Rin Scales
The gin rin on this fish is strong and even. The reflective scales sparkle across the white and red, adding depth and shine that looks spectacular in sunlight and in the pond.
Skin and Colour
The red is thick and deep, especially on the head plate. The shiroji is bright, snow white, and the pectoral fins are pure white. With so much clean white, the red and the gin rin really stand out.
