Gin Rin Kohaku – 40cm
A bright, sparkling Gin Rin Kohaku imported from Japan. Bold red plates, snow-white skin and reflective gin rin scales that catch the light with every turn.
The Pattern
A deep red plate covers the head, framed by a clean white nose. Behind it, a large red plate spreads over the shoulders, broken by white for a lively, natural look. Red plates sit on either side of the dorsal fin, and a rear plate carries the pattern towards the tail.
Gin Rin Scales
Gin rin scales reflect light like glitter. On this Kohaku they sparkle across the white and red, adding depth and shine that looks spectacular in sunlight and in the pond.
Why Gin Rin Kohaku
Kohaku is the foundation of the koi hobby, and gin rin adds a brilliant extra dimension. At 40cm, this fish has plenty of growing ahead.
