Momotaro Gin Rin Sanke | 47 cm
A sparkling Gin Rin Sanke from Momotaro Koi Farm in Okayama, Japan. Momotaro is known worldwide for powerful body shape and deep, even colour, and this fish shows both.
Pattern and colour
The hi (red) is deep and even. A large plate covers the head and leaves the nose white. A broad red plate runs over the shoulders, and another runs down the rear body to the tail joint. Small sumi (black) stones sit on the back and rear body, keeping the head clean. The white skin is bright, and the gin rin scales catch the light along the back. The pectoral fins are clean white.
Why this koi
– Momotaro bloodline with strong body and deep colour
– Gin rin scales that sparkle in the pond
– Clean head and well-placed sumi on bright white skin
